North Star Chapter Cruise – August 22nd from Hampton to Northfield

(Rain or Shine!!! If you can’t drive your Stude, drive your Brand-X!!!)
Connie and Dean Merrell of the North Star Chapter will be leading a scenic cruise from Hampton to Northfield.
Why a cruise?  Cruises are nice because you get to see Studebakers, drive Studebakers, and show Studebakers without unreasonable exposure to viruses!
We’ll meet at the Park & Ride in Hampton, MN on Hwy 52.  Meeting time is 10:15. Rollout is 10:45 sharp!
The cruise will last about an hour and will end in a park in Northfield. Dean and Connie have reserved the covered pavilion AND the bathrooms for our use only!  We’ll have wipes and hand sanitizer available.  If you are comfortable with the idea of a socially distanced picnic, hang around for a bit and chat with your fellow Studebakerites from 6 feet or more away.  You should bring your own chairs, your own food & drink, and a mask!  If you would rather pick up something to eat and drink in Northfield, we’ll provide a list of convenient places to stop in for food at the beginning of the cruise.  Local places include Hogan Brothers, The Hideaway, and Ole’s Store plus most of the usual fast-food joints.  If you are not comfortable hanging out for a bit outside, we understand.
We’ve attached two PDFs to this email with a map and text directions.  We’ll have those printed up and available at the start.  If you’d like to see the route in your web browser, you can click on the link below:
